Rt Hon Shoge Quadri Olaouwa, a representative of The Great Independence Hall Constituency, University of Ibadan has been elected the new speaker of the Students Representatives Council of the University of Ibadan Students Union.
Shoge, a 300-level student of Faculty of Law pulled 82 votes in a distance win to defeat his opponent, Sola Alao Olamiposi who had 39 votes.

Clerk: Hon. Adedeji Praise a representative of the Lord Tedder Hall Constituency
Chief Whip: Hon. Oluwagbemisola Olubanjo a representative of Queen Idia Hall Constituency
