In another dimension to the dramatic twist of the University of Ibadan Students’ Union 2016 electioneering, Rt. Hon. Toheeb Arogundade, the Speaker of the Student Representatives Council (5th Assembly) has declared his support for Nifemi.
Ojo Emmanuel ‘Nifemi is a presidential aspirant in the forthcoming UISU election and he is a resident of Sultan Bello Hall, the same hall Mr Arogundade belongs.
He made this declaration while speaking with our reporter at the 2016 Presidential Debate organised by the Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan at the Students’ Union Events Centre. In his words, “as a representative from Sultan Bello Hall, I declare ‘Nifemi as the sole candidate for UISU presidency”.
He believed that ‘Nifemi is the best candidate that can consolidate on the achievements of the incumbent as he said “success without successor is a failure”.
Ojo Emmanuel Nifemi is contesting the presidency of UISU with Adeyemi Usman Adeyanju (Omooba), Otunla Akeem and Adegoke Kehinde Victor (K-Cent).
