The First Class Edge Community is set to hold its second edition of the Academic and Entrepreneurship Excellence summit tagged CREAVATION 1.0 on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the Technology Lecture Theatre(TLT), Faculty of Technology, University of Ibadan.
The forthcoming summit which is themed ‘Unlocking Creativity For Global Dominance’ is being organised by Israel Alabi, the author of First Class Edge with the intention to inspire younger Nigerian folks to build the mindset and habits that create sustained excellence results.
In the statement sent to UCJUI, Israel Alabi stated that “the summit theme is in line with the rebranding of the conference as Creavation, which is a unique blend of Creativity and Innovation – two very important terms youths must embrace and embody if they want to succeed in today’s volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous world.
Explaining further about activities that will featured in the summit, Mr. Alabi noted that the initiative has lined up a row of creative and innovative activities which include soft and hard skills acquisition, and mindset enhancement, among others.
“The event will cover academic excellence, personal development, mindset enhancement, and acquisition of soft and hard skills to make Nigerian youths competitive globally.”
The statement also reads that admission into the one-day event is free and the organisers look forward to having in physical attendance more than 500 people including students across all faculties in the University of Ibadan, academia, graduates, and corp members.
