Dele Alimi Temiloluwa, Oke Emmanuel Ayomide, Chinelo Nwangwu, Adeosun Tomiwa John, Sivebukola John, Anyanwu Roseben C.N and Adebimpe Oyinka Rebecca have emerged in the long awaited list of the Nigerian Students Poetry Prize.
The Moderator of NSPP 2016, Kolade Olanrewaju Freedom, who announced on behalf of PIN (Poets in Nigeria), the longlist for the Nigerian Students poetry prize 2016 on Monday said NSPP 2016 which was declared open to submissions on 15th January, 2016 saw about 400 entries from tertiary institutions all over the country.
He further stated relayed his congratulatory messages to the 30 longlisted entrants whose poems have received critical examination to be on the list.
However, he mentioned that the 30 longlisted entries will further be assessed and narrowed down to 3 poems after which the prize winners of N100, 000, 50, 000 and 30, 000 will be announced within the month of June 2016.
