COLLEGE OF MEDICINE STUDENTS PAY TO COLLECT TRANSCRIPT

Most students at the college of medicine especially 200 level paramedical and pre-clinical students got disappointed when they got to UCH to get their transcript for last session and they were asked to pay before they would be given.

They were very agitated as they complained that their friends in other faculties would simply go to the appropriate quarters and get their transcripts for free with ease.

Narrating his experience, a 200 level Bio-chemistry student said “I joined a long queue before I paid for my transcript, standing for hours, after that I could not collect my result that day because I would have to join another queue and those to give the result were already saying, it’s time for closing hour. I paid N500 for the transcript”.

It is very obvious that this idea of paying to collect one’s transcript is a new trend and we are hoping that this will not spread to other faculties.
