TO THE WISE ONE

As I sat at my window, I thought deeply on what to write to “the wise one” this time because I have got a lot on my mind that I would like to let him use his wits and his connections to help me solve some of them that are quite challenging. I want him to help me beg Mr. and Mrs. Professor.

Mr. and Mrs. Professor work in a big school called college. At college, people called Jackers are expected to spend four years working so that they can get a piece of paper called Seven {7} points. There is usually a criterion they use to measure each person’s performance at the end of the four years or five years of training although some people require a longer year. Some people who excel are recruited to stay on at college.

I had heard earlier that all kinds of things happen during the process of learning to acquire seven points. Sometimes there could be protest and the professors would decide to leave their work and make the “Jackers” believe that it was all in their interest. I heard that this has mellowed down a bit because the federal agency has appealed to them.

Now I have been made to sympathize with some of the “Jackers” at College. I learnt some of them wrote exams and despite going through the rigors of training and preparing well, when the results came out it was as if they had not prepared at all or let me say that it was as if this set of people were complete dullards.

I was told that more than three divisions of college failed one of the exams and the few that passed did so just barely. Some of the “Jackers” even complained that there was a particular Mrs. Professor who decided to discourage future “Jackers” from coming to train under her by giving her poor unsuspecting “Jackers” scores that will completely chase away future “Jackers”. I wonder, what would happen if they were to go over these “Jackers” records again. We cannot help but wonder why Mr. and Mrs. Professor did what they did. Some of the “Jackers” are even too scared to check the outcomes of many of their their exams.

Even though not all “Jackers” were affected, I decided to write to you, “the wise one”, on behalf of those who came to me for help since there was nothing I could do. Please wise one, on behalf of these people who were affected I beg you to tell Mr. and Mrs. Professor to please loosen their grip on these “Jackers” so that their four years will not be elongated unnecessarily.
