The Kenneth Dike Library at the University of Ibadan has officially rolled out its schedule for the 2025/2026 session.
Announced on April 10, 2026, the five-day program is a mandatory rite of passage for all newly admitted students, designed to integrate them into the university’s vast academic resource network.
The exercise is slated to run from Monday, April 13, to Friday, April 17, 2026.
To ensure a smooth experience and manage the influx of students, the library has organized the sessions by faculty, with two daily time slots: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM.
Registration Requirements
Freshmen are expected to arrive at the library premises with the following documents:
Two (2) recent passport photographs.
Official proof of studentship (this includes your Acceptance Fee receipt, School Fees receipt, or any other authorized document confirming admission).
Students are however, strictly advised to attend only on the date assigned to their respective faculties.
University authorities have emphasized the importance of participating within this designated window.
