The Student Union of the University of Ibadan has called on the University College Hospital (UCH) and relevant stakeholders to act to ensure immediate restoration of power to the UCH.
In a public release signed by the SU president, Aweda Bolaji and the General Secretary, Ogundijo Japheth, the student Union stated that thedelay in restoration of electricity in UCH was due to the “inability of the hospital management to fulfil her part of the conditions”
This memo stated that the University management of UI had fulfilled her part of the conditions for the restoration of power, however, these conditions were not stated.
The UI SU also vowed to hold a physical demonstration if the power in the UCH is not restored on Friday, 6th February 2025
