UI’3 Legal Case: Federal High Court Reschedules Final Judgment to April 14, 2026

The high-profile legal dispute involving three University of Ibadan students: Aduwo Ayodele, Mide Gbadegesin and Nice Linus, collectively known as UI’3, has seen a new development, as the Federal High Court, Ibadan, reschedules the final judgment to April 14, 2026.

The students are challenging disciplinary measures imposed by the university following their peaceful #FEESMUSTFALL demonstration on May 13, 2024, during the inauguration of the then UI’SU administration.

The nonviolent protest led to their forcible removal, alleged assault, handover to the Nigerian Army, and prolonged intimidation, with two students later suspended for four semesters.

The case is now approaching its decisive stage as the court will deliver its judgment on April 14, 2026.
