UI 2026/2027 Admissions: Registration Date Set as Underage Screening is Deferred Due to WASSCE Clash

The University of Ibadan has officially opened its undergraduate admissions portal for the 2026/2027 academic session, setting a strict deadline for both Post-UTME and Direct Entry applicants. Prospective students can register online starting Monday, June 22, 2026, until the portal closes on Sunday, July 19, 2026.

In a statement signed by the university management, the memo explicitly noted that the registration window will not be extended, urging all candidates to finalise their applications on time.

The main screening will take place as a Computer-Based Test across three days, running from Monday, July 27, 2026, to Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

Concurrently, the university has delayed a separate, earlier scheduled screening for underage candidates. Originally slated for Tuesday, June 16, 2026, this specific exercise was deferred after concerns emerged regarding a scheduling conflict with the ongoing West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

The admissions office notified the affected prospective students directly via email about the postponement and stated that a rescheduled date will be shared with them in due course.
