The management of the University of Ibadan has approved the postponement of Faculty examinations earlier scheduled to start on Monday, May 22 by a week.
The decision to make the postponement was reached following a request made by the Council of Faculty Presidents and the Students’ Representative Council.
In a statement of notice released and signed by the Registrar, Mr G.O Saliu on Tuesday, May 16, the institution’s management announced that the exams have been rescheduled to start on May 29, 2023.
“The decision is in due consideration of the plea in the said letter on behalf of the student populace, by the SRC and the Council of Faculty Presidents. Management is particularly considerate of, and is agreeable to the argument that there is need for a little more time which will allow students to undergo revisions in view of the many peculiarities of the academic calendar of the current year.”
“I, on behalf of the University Management, also wish all our students the very best attainments in their studies,” the Registrar added.
