Mechanical Engineering has, today, 7th August, defeated Psychology at the SUB football pitch to qualify second from group C
Psychology side missing star men Haaland and Emeka conceded in the first half following an early onslaught from mechanical engineering.
Mechanical Engineering who needed a win to qualify from the group, took complete control of the game and looked to double the scoreline.
Psychology introduced Haaland and Mahrez in the second half in a bid to get a result from the game. However in the closing minutes of the game, mechanical engineering scored two quick fire goals to all but confirm their victory.
Mechanical engineering’s victory means they end the group with 5 points – just 1 behind Psychology who finish top of the group.
The result means History finished third in the group with 4 points and are now officially out of the competition.
