Super Eagles forward and captain, Ahmed Musa, who has no club and last tasted football action November last year, has been included in the squad list released by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) earlier today, which will face Benin and Lesotho to round off the 2022 African Cup Of Nations (AFCON) qualifying matches.
Paul Onuachu, a forward for Genk, who is the highest goal scorer in Belgium and currently Super eagles most in-form striker has been placed on stand-by.
The list also saw first call-up handed to striker Sadiq Umar (Almeria FC) and goal keeper John Noble (Eyimba FC).

The Eagles will battle it out with the Squirrels of Benin Republic on March 27th at the Charles de Gaulle stadium in Porto Novo, Benin republic, and will play the Crocodiles of Lesotho at the Teslim Balogun stadium, Lagos, on March 30th.
The Eagles are currently top of the Group E with eight points, closely followed by Benin with seven points. The Eagles however, need a point form the two games to seal their participation in the 2022 AFCON to be played at Cameroon next year.
