The University of Ibadan is set to host an End-of-Tenure Ceremony in honour of its 13th Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kayode O. Adebowale, mNi, FAS, FSPSP, marking the conclusion of his five-year administration.
The event will take place on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM and will feature a Distinguished Leadership Lecture titled “Leadership, Legacy, and the Future of Research-Intensive Universities in Africa.”
The milestone event also heralds a new era for the Premier University, as Vice-Chancellor-Elect Professor Peter Olapegba prepares to take the reins of leadership.
