
University of Ibadan’s Rotaract Club on Saturday, October 7, held the investiture for its 50th President, Ebunoluwa Dorcas.
The investiture, held at the UI Hotels, also featured the induction of new members into the organization and fundraising for the multitude of activities lined up for the organization in the new administration.
Speaking at the event, the new President, expressed gratitude to members for entrusting her with the opportunity to serve, noting that she would commit herself to doing this beyond doubt.
“As President, I commit myself to fostering an environment of inclusivity and collaboration within our club. Each member brings unique perspectives, skills, and experiences to the table, and it is through embracing our diversity that we will find innovative solutions to create hope in the world.
“Together, we will create a supportive space where every member feels valued, heard, and inspired,” she was quoted saying in her address during the program.

Speaking further, she noted that her administration will focus on key areas like the execution of “impactful and sustainable projects that will benefit both members of Rota Premier, students of University of Ibadan, and our community at large” and ensuring “the personal, professional and leadership growth of every member of the club through various programs and
activities.”
The event also featured the presentation of awards to various distinguished individuals like Rtn Oba Adeoye Gbenga Adigun Oyinlola II, Rotn Isaac A Ajibike, Rtr Hammed Farayola, Rotn. Kolawole Shittu Adebisi and Rtn Folake Gbadamosi.
