The University of Ibadan has received 20,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccines from the Oyo state government.
The university is set to begin a fresh vaccination exercise for students today, November 23, UCJ UI learned.
The vaccines would be distributed per hall and would be supervised by the University Health Services (Jaja Clinic).
The two-week vaccination schedule goes thus:
Queen Elizabeth and Mellanby- Tuesday, 23/11/21
Queen Idia and Ogunsheye – Wednesday, 24/11/21
Tedder and Bello – Friday, 26/11/21
Balewa and Azikiwe – Monday 29/11/21
Independence and Kuti – Tuesday 30/11/21
Abubakar Abdulsalami and Alumni – 1/12/21
Obafemi Awolowo Hall -2/12/21
All students of the University– off-campus, Distance Learning Centre, Postgraduate and undergraduate– are eligible for the vaccination and are required to follow the above schedule, however, students that will not be available on the day for their halls can join any hall.
