Through its learning competition, undergraduates can build soft skills by participating as a team of 5 and win up to 1,300USD (500,000NGN) every month on its telegram Academy – Ed the learning bot
April 09, 2021 – Solve Education! launches Ed the learning bot. The program’s key objective is to address the learning crisis and youth unemployment crisis in the region by bridging the skill mismatch between traditional classroom education, and industry expectations through gamification.
Oladimeji Ojo, CEO of Solve Education! Nigeria emphasizes the importance of the program as “It’s basically a scholarship that any student can win. No entry barrier. Just work with a team of 5 and diligently build skills day after day.”
To join, students need to create a telegram group, add their team of 5, add the teacher bot assigned through Ed the learning bot, and keep building skills. Qualifiers are selected weekly for the monthly scholarship finals. The organization invites all college students across sub-Sahara Africa to team up and compete in the Solve Education! learning competition.
