The Sigma Club, University of Ibadan, has officially commenced registration for the second edition of the Sigma Sports Festival 2026, inviting sports enthusiasts to participate in the upcoming event.
According to the official announcement made by the club, registration is open for several sporting activities, including football, chess, marathon, Scrabble, and more. A Google Form is attached to each category, allowing participants to register for their preferred sport.
Speaking on the registration process, the organisers disclosed that there is currently no registration deadline for the competition. However, registration for football will operate on a first-come, first-served basis and will close immediately once the quota for the number of teams is reached.
The organisers also revealed that the competition is slated to last for two weeks, providing participants with ample opportunity to compete across the various sporting events.
