
Protesters are now departing the premises of the Vice Chancellor’s lodge and are set to reconvene at 5am for a continuation of the mass action
After making their grievances heard and deliberating on germane issues that relate to their struggle against the fee hike, protesters have demanded that the Students Union make available the Aluta jet, public address system and other necessary union equipment to aid the mass action.
The events of August 29th and 30th follow that of July 16th and 17th which saw University of Ibadan students protest for the first time since the infamous protest of 2017.
