JUST IN: SRC Sanctions SU President For Congress Postponement

The University of Ibadan Students Representative Council (SRC) has announced in the resolution of its second physical meeting, sanctions to Aweda Bolaji, the President of the Students Union for his constitutional misconduct.

Recall that UCJUI had reported how the Executive Council of the Students Union had postponed the Congress that was meant to be held on July 29 due to ‘unforeseen circumstances.’

The Disciplinary Committee of the House resolved that an apology letter be written to the general student populace, the council, and also observe a 48-hour community service at the Jaja Clinic.

“Write an apology letter to the general student populace and the Student Representative council for disregarding the rulings of the council and, by extension, the general student populace.’
