The Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan, has officially announced a call for entries for the 2026 edition of its annual publication, Campulse Magazine.
Coined from the fusion of “Campus” and “Pulse,” Campulse has long represented the beating heart of campus discourse, a storied legacy where student writers put their pens to work.
Over the years, the publication has garnered endorsements from distinguished veterans in the media and literary industries, including Sunday Oguntola and Gbenga Omotoso, the former Lagos State Commissioner for Information and a lot more.
For any emerging creative or writer seeking a high-impact platform for their next work, Campulse remains a premier space to showcase literary excellence and sharp intellectual engagement.
Centred on the theme “Critical Minds: Advancing Social Progress Amid Failing Leadership and Followership”, this prospective edition offers a timely platform for young thinkers to critically examine governance, civic duty, and the path toward meaningful societal change.
Undergraduate students from tertiary institutions across Nigeria are particularly invited to contribute original, engaging works across a broad range of literary and journalistic styles, including satire, poetry, opinion pieces, essays, and short stories.
Submissions must adhere to a minimum length of 500 words, except for poetry, which is exempt from this word count requirement.
