The Students of the University of Ibadan, here present at the venue of the scheduled Congress have started reacting to the delay.
Recall that the Union had initially stated that the Congress would start 7am on Saturday, however, after three hours, it’s yet to commence.
UCJUI spoke with multiple students and largely they maintained that the leadership is the cause of the delay. At the SU President office premises, students are also seen expressing displeasure with the delay, with some calling for his suspension.
However, the leadership have also noted that they have mobilized and currently still doing, but have some minor issue such as students having tests in some faculties this morning.
