The SIGMA Club, University of Ibadan, will hold a walk against drug abuse on monday, August 12.
This walk against drug abuse is part of the Club’s effort to commemorate this year’s International Youth Day, as an organization that is concerned about fighting social problems, says the SIGMA Chief.
“Our vision and mission aligns perfectly with the fight against this social problem, as we strive to improve the lives of our fellow students and community at large . We are proud to organize a walk against drug abuse as a tangible expression of our commitment to creating a healthier and safer environment for everyone,” he added.
The campaign will reach various parts on campus and it would focus on sensitizing the students on the importance of abstaining from drug abuse and usage of other harmful substances.
