The Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan (UCJUI) has lifted the ban on electoral activities in the mother body according to the section 31 of the union’s 2016 constitution.
The lift of the ban on the electoral activities was made known on Friday, September 24, through a WhatsApp broadcast announcement that was signed by the electoral committee of the union.
Interested inducted members were implored to indicate their interests in the available positions for the 2021/2022 session and also familiarise themselves with the constitutions on qualifications for elections into the positions they are interested in.
Information on the available positions which are the positions of the President, Vice President(administration), Vice President (editorial), General Secretary, Assistant General Secretary, PRO I, PRO II, and Financial Secretary, and the purchase of forms was also given by the electoral committee.
