Stella Damasus receives death threats over recent comments on events in Nigeria

Nollywood Actress currently based in the U.S., Stella Damasus has received a death threat over her comments on the unfortunate happenings in Nigeria.

While lending a voice to the Child Not Bride campaign months ago, she released a very daring video on YouTube, calling a particular serving Senator and his supporters paedophiles.

Also a few weeks ago, after the abduction of over 200 girls from Chibok, she released another video addressing the government and accusing it of not asking for help from foreign allies.

As a result, some hired assassins were sent to murder her last Monday.

Confirming the incident, Stella took to twitter during the week and wrote: “That is what Nigeria is known for; you say the truth…they try to silence you! It will not work on Stella Damasus. I cannot be intimidated.”

Usher Defends Justin Bieber Following Racist Remarks

Justin Bieber’s mentor Usher is siding with the embattled pop star following some videos leaked that show the 20-year-old singer using racial slurs. This is following an instagram post of an old photo of he and Bieber.

Bieber apologized a second time on Thursday after a new video, reportedly taken when he was 14 years old, surfaced of him repeatedly using the N-word and joking about joining the Ku Klux Klan in a racist parody of his hit 2009 song One Less Lonely Girl.

The first of these videos emerged earlier this week and was apparently recorded during the making of the 2011 documentary Never Say Never. The video shows a then 15-year-old Bieber telling the joke, “Why are black people afraid of chainsaws?” Despite a number of objections voiced by those around Bieber, he delivered the racist punchline, “Run n*****-, n*****, n*****, n*****, n*****,” imitating the starting and revving noise of a chainsaw.

Jennifer Lopez revisits memorable plunging Grammy’s dress

It’s been nearly 15 years since Jennifer Lopez walked the red carpet in a green Versace dress so low-cut fans got to see the pop star’s belly button. But we still haven’t forgotten about JLo’s plunging dress and neither has she, apparently.

The 44-year-old singer performed in the Bronx, New York, on Wednesday night and she sported a racy leotard that was strikingly similar to her 2000 Grammys ensemble.

Though the new outfit featured a higher neckline and a less sheer fabric, the similarities to her unforgettable Grammys outfit were undeniable.

Maybe the songstress was aiming to prove she’s still just “Jenny From the Block.”

Back in 2000, JLo’s Grammy outfit shocked viewers at home, many of whom were likely appalled by the skin-barring outfit. These days, however, stars have taken things to a whole new level with celebs like Rihanna and Scout Willis outrightly refusing to cover their breasts while using cameras to snap pics.
