Three students of the university of Ibadan have been reportedly arrested by operatives from the Department of State Security (DSS), for allegedly faking a kidnap of one of them, in order to swindle the parent.
The University’s Chief Security Officer, Mr. Victor Fadeyibi confirmed the arrest to UCJ UI but refused to share more details as the matter is currently under investigation.
UCJUI gathered that one of them is a recent graduate and a former student-leader at the Kenneth Mellanby Hall.
