The University of Ibadan has officially announced its representatives for the forthcoming University Bamboo League, a national investment and finance competition powered by Bamboo, a leading investment platform licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Nigeria.
The University’s team, unveiled in an official statement, comprises Eunice, Victor, Timi, Maria, Noel, Samuel, Peace, Rosheed, Roqeeb, and Temi,a group of ten outstanding students selected to represent the institution in the challenge.
The University Bamboo League, which runs from October 6 to December 1, 2025, is designed to promote financial literacy, investment awareness, and wealth management skills among university students across Nigeria. Competing teams will test their knowledge of real-time investing, stock trading, and portfolio management on the Bamboo platform.
The public is encouraged to support the University of Ibadan team by downloading the Bamboo app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and signing up using the referral code UBLUI119.
