NASU PROTESTS IN UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN, THREATENS STRIKE ACTION

The Non Academic Staff Union (NASU) proceeded en masse to the administrative quarters of the University of Ibadan campus on Monday, 2nd June 2015, where they staged a peaceful protest.

Members of this union, who include cleaners, security personnel, librarians, porters and other non academic officials, stated categorically that certain requirements which as they claimed, are quintessential to their effective performance in their various duty posts have been neglected.

They further gave a three day grace period to those it may concern to act accordingly, failure of which would result to a strike action by every single member of the union.

UCJ gathered that these requirements are under due consideration as there would not be any need for abandonment of duties.
