
Olanshile Ogunrinu, a 300-level student of the Department of Communications and Language Arts has emerged President-elect of the Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan.
Olanshile emerged at the Union’s election held on Saturday, February 15, 2025.
Over 80 voters from all registered press organizations within the institution participated in the election to determine the next members of the union’s executive council.
Olanshile, who is the current Editor-in-Chief of AFAS Press Organization and a member of Bello & ACLAS Press, is the 37th President Elect of UCJUI.
Going unopposed, he pulled a total of 80 votes with 3 void votes. Ayeye Toluwalope emerged as the Vice-president (Editorial) and Moboluwarin Ogunleye as the Vice-president (Administration). The following is the full list of the elected 37th Administration Executives.
