Meet our University of Ibadan celebrity crush of the week. She is a popular rapper in the University and outside; she has been featured in a lot of concerts, and had also featured people. She is the University of Ibadan artist who got Adekunle Gold impressed by her performance at Campus storm organized by Unity Bank.

MONA QUEEN: I am Joshua Damilola Elizabeth aka Mona Queen, a 400l student of the Department of Adult Education, Faculty of Education.

MONA QUEEN: I am a Rap Artist
UCJ UI: When did you start singing?
MONA QUEEN: I started singing in 2015, when I was in 200 level.
UCJ UI:How many songs have you released since then?
MONA QUEEN: I have released 5 songs so far and Know Nothing is the latest song
UCJ UI: When should we expect another hot song?
MONA QUEEN: I am currently working on a song; it should be released soonest.
UCJ UI: What are your hobbies?
MONA QUEEN: I love dancing, reading novels and sleep.

MONA QUEEN: Whenever an opportunity to showcase myself and my talent come.
UCJ UI: What can you say about your performance at campus storm that got everyone’s heart
MONA QUEEN: It was really an unexpected privilege. I was late and I thought I will just enjoy the rest of the show but then he (Adekunle Gold) called me up and I was beyond excited. Thanks to God it was a blast
UCJ UI:What female artist do you wish to be like in the close future?
MONA QUEEN: Nicki Minaji
UCJ UI: Why do you admire her?
MONA QUEEN: She was the first female rapper I started listening to. She is so versatile, hardworking and her lines usually get me.
