INDY HALL: DR. TEE COMMENCES BEAUTIFICATION OF GREAT INDEPENDENCE HALL

By: Martins Isaac

Hon Olaogun Temitope, the current House Secretary of the Great Independence Hall and former Chief Whip of the legislative house could be seen on Saturday 16, June with a couple of his friends at the quadrangle, in the morning, planting new Yellow Bush, White and Red Acaniva (hitherto nursed) at strategic places within the hall premises to add to its beauty. These places include, the grassy lawns around the hall warden’s office (White and Red Acaniva), the rear of the Supervisors’ office (Yellow Bush), and the main quadrangle (Yellow Bush) directly in between the Indy JCR, cafeteria, and supervisors’ office.

While commending the initiative, it should be noted that he only got #1000 according to the pre-budget expenses which he needed for polythene pots. The press also confirmed the existence of the Murraya plant which should be planted in the quadrangle very soon.

Lastly, worthy of note is the fact that these plants being planted to beautify the hall will take 2-3 years to start manifesting. The implication of which means he would have graduated.
