Let us play in the mud
Let us build sand houses
which the wind of adulthood blows away
Let us play in the mud
and cook sand grains
with the firewood of innocence
before the extinguishing substance in adulthood
quenches this wildfire of fun
Let us play in the mud
put on your mummy mask
and I will wear my papa persona
So we can act the scripts of
unadulterated by the hypocritical lifestyle of adults
Let us play in the mud
We only risk getting our hands dirty
While our hearts remain clean
But when we become adults
We’ll have clean hands
and very dirty hearts;
blackened with the soot of hate
