PLATO’S ACADEMY AT IT AGAIN

Plato’s Academy were at it again on Saturday, 10th October 2015, as they were beaten by the Department of Computer Science, after a really poor performance as the Dean’s Cup Reigning Champions.

Plato’s Academy had a lot of opportunities at scoring during the game but were very wasteful and unable to really threaten their opponent’s goal. Very late into the first halPLATO'S ACADEMYf, an Academy player handed the ball in the box and the referee immediately awarded a penalty to their opponents. The penalty was easily converted as the goal-keeper was glued to a spot. The second goal of the game came in the second half and it gifted Computer Science, the 2-0 victory. The friendly was in preparation for the Dean’s Cup competition that will be coming up soon and Plato’s Academy will be looking to win the trophy for the third time in a row. They were lackadaisical and non-chalant during the game and showed low level of comportment.

Also, Plato’s Academy hosted the Obafemi Awolowo University, Department of Philosophy to a friendly match on the 7th October 2015 at the SUB field and the match ended 2-1, in favour of Plato’s Academy, with the two goals from Oliseh Anselm. Naps OAU were however awarded a penalty towards the end of the match.
