The public hearing for the Faculty of Arts aimed at reviewing the constitution held on 9th October 2015, at the Faculty’s Room 33 at about 3:00 pm. The reforms made to the constitution includes the resolution that any principal officer in the Faculty Legislative Council must have a Cumulative Grade Percentage Average of 3.5 and above and the Faculty Legislative Council’s election would henceforth be conducted alongside the Faculty’s general elections. Also, the Faculty’s social week hereafter, is to be organized by the Vice President and the issue of whether or not the Council of Presidents and Secretaries (CPS) should be scrapped was discussed and put to a vote were the majority voted for its continuity. Due to time constraint, the hearing was adjourned till 16th October 2015. The hearing came to an end around 10:00 pm.
