On the 27th of November 2014, an impromptu GES 104 test held at the Faculty of Science lecture theatre. The test held at 6pm and which was meant to last for only ten minutes. Unfortunately, that same day that was slated for the ivory king and queen contest, and most students were absent. Students were seen running from halls of residence and hurriedly alighting from cabs in a bid to meet up with the test. Time passed as the lecturers in charge tried to get the students settled but their efforts seemed to be in vain, the electricity condition did not make matters easy for both lecturers and students. When the day got darker, the students had to make use of touch light from their phones to aid their vision. There was a lot of ‘team work’ by the students since there was little organization of the test.
