On Wednesday, 15th October 2025, the Indy Hall Legislative arm moved to suspend Mr Peculiar Gbolahan, the Administrator General of the Great Independence Hall.
His suspension was revealed in a press release from the Indy Hall Assembly, which states that it comes on the backdrop of administrative negligence, financial irregularities, and defiance of constituted authority.
His suspension is set to begin on Thursday, 16th October and last for over a week until Wednesday, 23rd October. According to the release, during this period, the Secretary of State is to act in his position as the AG.
The legislative council reiterates that this is its commitment to the principles of accountability, discipline and integrity. And that all cases of misconduct and abuse of public trust will be met with dire consequences.
