UI female basketball team fell heavily to the LAUTECH counterparts, losing at a very wide margin. The basketball game was part of the Pre NUGA games played for qualifying for the NUGA games.
LAUTECH dominated the game, leading all quarters of the game. LAUTECH team did not give UI any chance in the first quarter, leading 7 points to nill for UI.
LAUTECH continued to dominate UI in the remaining three quarters of the game, leading 13 – 2, 21 – 3, and 27 – 9 in the second, third, and fourth quarters, respectively.
Team UI failed to qualify for the NUGA basketball competition in both male and female categories.
