Following the disqualification of Nice Linus from UI’SRC, the Concerned Students Against Tuition Fee Increment (CSATF) has on Thursday, 6th March, called for the removal of UI Deputy Registrar (Students) and Chairman of the Electoral Commission, Tijani Musa, citing “gross misconduct as management staff chairing a Students’ Union Election”.

Nice Linus of the Obafemi Awolowo Hall Constituency from taking office as majority leader in the 12th Assembly of the Students’ Representative Council (SRC).

He cited the pending investigation of the Students Disciplinary Committee into the events of Monday, May 13, 2024, where she alongside Aduwo Ayodele, a 300 level student and Olamide Gbadegesin a 700 level student raised placards at the inauguration ceremony of the Aweda Bolaji-led Students’ Union administration, protesting the arbitrary hike in fee prices.
