The Students Union of the University of Ibadan has announced a peaceful demonstration, following the expiration of the 7-days Ultimatum given to the Federal government of Nigeria to address the incessant blackout currently faced by students at three University College of Medicine (UCH), Ibadan.
The convergence point and the time for the protest is the main gate of UCH at 7am respectively.
According to the official statement, this is expected to be an act of solidarity with students of the University in Alexander Brown Hall and Ayodele Falase postgraduate hall.

Following the expiration of our 7 days Ultimatum to the Federal government of Nigeria to address the blackout at University College hospital (UCH), Ibadan, we are inviting you to a peaceful demonstration.
As an act of solidarity with our fellow students in Alexander Brown hall and Ayodele Falase postgraduate hall who have experienced blackout for 80 days now.
Please join us tomorrow morning by 7am for this demonstration from UCH down to Secretariat.
