The Faculty of Clinical Sciences succumbed to a 1-0 defeat from the combined faculty team of Public Health, Social Science, Veterinary Medicine, and Technology in the female category of the inter faculty basketball competition at Awo Stadium.
The win capped off an exciting display for the PSVT team, who dominated in each of their matches leading up to the finals.
Although the Faculty of Clinical Sciences also put up a strong showing before the finals, the combined faculties team (PSVT) proved too strong for them.
Both teams gave their all, with numerous attacks on each occasion, but the game was ultimately settled by the early point taken by the PSVT team.
After the game, just like their male counterparts, the combined faculties basketball team was rewarded with a 50,000 cash prize and backpacks.
