The Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan, has announced the opening of the fourth edition of the Sunday Oguntola Essay Contest for Campus Journalists in the institution.
This Competition, targeted at Campus Journalists in Departmental Press Organizations, sees them engage and proffer solutions to National issues annually.
This year’s contest, which is the fourth edition focuses on the topic, “Using monetary policies to combat increasing inflation and improve value of the naira.”
The Sunday Oguntola Essay contest was created to engage young, talented minds of the University of Ibadan on National issues, and see them proffer solutions.
The deadline for submission of entries is September 14, 2024. Only inducted members of UCJ UI or those who would pass the forthcoming induction examinations are eligible to participate.
Sunday Oguntola is the Editorial Adviser for UCJUI and is currently the Online Editor of The Nations Newspaper
