The management of the University of Ibadan has locked the gate that connects the institution to The Polytechnic Ibadan, UCJUI has confirmed.
The decision to lock the gate was announced in a statement signed by the institution’s Chief Security Officer on Wednesday.
“Please be informed that our Poly Gate is presently locked because of some security threats from The Polytechnic end.
“The gate will be opened as soon as peace is restored. Our staff and residents are advised to use alternative routes please. Kindly broadcast this on other platform,” the statement read.
