
Dairy company, FanMilk, on Thursday, October 5, 2023, unveiled its plans to commence a brand activation tour, themed ‘FanIce “Scoop Up The Fun” Campus Tour’ for its ice cream brand, FanIce, in the University of Ibadan.
This was announced during a Press Conference held at the Conference Hall, UI Hotels, which had in attendance reputable personnel from the company; the CEO IS43, Goodman Shodeinde, Sales Manager, Segun Oyetola, Product Manager IS43, Moses Nwaeze, FanIce Ambassador, Babatunmise, UI’SU President, Samuel Tobiloba, and the UI’SU AGS, Adeniyi Mojuba.
Speaking at the conference Mr. Shodeinde, the CEO of the IS43, gave an insight into what the activation program will look like.
“We know people are aware of FanIce and the fact that the company has been on over 60 years, we are planning on this activation so as to introduce our new products to students and at the same time the benefits”.
He explained that the program is designed to familiarize FanIce products with students, noting that UI is the first tertiary institution stop for the tour.
“It is geared to make the products resonate with the students. It is to bring the goodness across the country, and UI being the trailblazer, as it has always been, will be our first point for the brand activation”, he said.
He highlighted that the brand activation event will start on Monday, October 9, 2023 at SUB. He promised that students will have chance for lots of interactions with the brand’s representatives and avenue to win numerous prizes.
“There is going to be a performance from Babatunmise, a musician and Red Carpet host, to the delight of the students. There would be a lot of star prizes to be won at the Ice cream party, these prizes are different from the ones that will be won during the week”, he added.
