The Council of Hall Chairpersons, University of Ibadan, has on Sunday announced the emergence of new executives to lead the council for the 2022/2023 session after an in-house election at the council meeting on Saturday.
According to the statement made available to UCJUI, Mellanby Hall Chairman, Olabanji Olaniyan emerges as the new Chairperson and Independence Hall’s administrator general, Ogunremi Samuel, emerges as the Vice Chairman.
Akinyemi Moyosore of Queen Idia Hall – General Secretary, Paul Moses of Ayodele Falase Hall – Treasurer, And Victory Dooshima of Queen Elizabeth II Hall – Public Relations Officer.
Speaking with the UCJUI, Olabanji Olaniyan described his emergence as another opportunity to serve Uites and promised a people-oriented leadership focused on progress and collaboration with Uites.
“I feel honored and grateful for the opportunity to serve uites and the council of hall chairpersons.
Uites should expect people centered leadership. We have a progressive council and I would be working hand in hand with all chairpersons to make sure we achieve great things,” he said.
