The Junior Chamber International, University of Ibadan Chapter (JCINUI) is set to organize another edition of the Tunde Oshobi Public Forum, this was revealed in a statement received by UCJ UI.
According to the statement, the Tunde Oshobi Public Forum which was founded in the University of Ibadan in 1987 under the presidency of J.C Lekan Bello to “party-solve the dearth of informal education that any University is additionally established to offer”, has metamorphosed into an annual public forum that presents youths a platform to actively participate in discussions that will facilitate the nation’s political growth.
This year’s edition is themed 2023 General Elections: Reshaping Nigeria’s future, and will feature seasoned speakers in Education, Media, Business, and Governance to discuss the topic extensively. The directors, Waheed Ojo and Rita Okolo, have given their words to ensure that the project’s main focus is worked on this year.
The event will hold on October 12 at Dilay Consult Event Centre and will include an Oratory contest, a theme session, and a panel session..
