BON AWARDS 2014: Femi Jacobs and Rita Dominic win Best Supporting Actor and Actress Respectively
The best of Nollywood awards held in Port Harcourt on Thursday, October 16, 2014 with Rita Dominic emerging as the Best Supporting Actress (English) for her role in ‘The Meeting’ and Femi Jacobs as the Best Supporting Actor (English) for his role in ‘Dream Walker’. Other winners include Olamide Davids as Best Child Actor for his role in ‘Black Silhouette’
Tope Teleda won the award for ’The Best Actor in a leading role’ while Ivie Okujaye won ‘Best Actress in a leading role’ for their roles in ‘A Mile from Home’ and ‘Black Silhouette’ respectively. Desmond Elliot won the Director of the year award while ‘Silence’ also won the movie of the year award. Lekki Wives won the best TV Series award and the Revelations of the year awards went to Daniel .K. Daniel and Linda Ejiofor.
Musician Dies Hours Before Baby’s Naming Ceremony
A Nigerian female musician by the name of Faycol (Feyitayo Oyetade) has died. The Ogun state born artist died on the day of baby boy’s naming ceremony on Tuesday, October 14, 2014.
She reportedly slumped in her bathroom shortly before the naming ceremony. By the time medical intervention got to her, she had passed away.
Faycol was 25 and got married to her manager earlier this year. She was buried on Wednesday in Sagamu town, Ogun State.
Kate Middleton and her husband to sue photographer
Kate Middleton and her husband, Prince William, recently threatened to sue a photographer they accused of harassing their 14-month old son, Prince George. It is also learned that Kate fears that their every move is being tracked by someone even closer to the family.
In the meantime, she recently fled to her parents’ place in Bucklebury, England. Kate and William have vowed to do everything in their power to protect George and they will not rest until they find the spy.

It is also revealed that Lionel Richie has bragged about his affair with Kris Jenner in the past, but could he really be Khloe Kardashian’s father? An insider reveals that Lionel’s biological daughter (Nicole is adopted) 16-year-old Sofia ‘looks like she could be Khloe’s little sister.’
