The University of Ibadan Students’ Union has called for a town hall meeting of Union executives and other student leaders.
This was made known in a memo released on Sunday.
According to the memo, the meeting would be to deliberate on issues affecting the student body.
“This is to collectively address, reevaluate and restrategize on our collective goals as a Union for the rest of the session”the letter stated.
Those expected to be at the meeting on Friday, September 5, include Faculty Presidents, Hall Chairpersons, Majority Leaders, Departmental Presidents and Students’ Organisation Presidents.
As of press time, the SU had also sent a letter requesting approval of Congress from the Students’ Representative Council.
