Miss Okunsanmi Aderoju, the Students’ Union Vice President has kept to her word by giving the winners of the Who-Wants-To-Be–A-Thousandnaire competition their prizes.
She had on Wednesday apologised for the delay and promised to reward the lucky winners by Friday. True to her word, Aderoju today, 4th November, 2016 paid each of the three winners the sum 15,000, 5,000 and 3,000 naira respectively.
The 15,000 naira grand winner, Ayoade Sheriff who had earlier lamented the late payment expressed his profound appreciation to the Union. He, however, urged the Union to always carry people along in such matters as the issue would not have escalated as it did if the needed had been done.
