POLITICAL SCIENCE @50
Amidst the celebration of department political science’s golden jubilee a great lecture was organized for the benefit of students and staffs of the department. The lecture was titled CURBING INSECURITY IN NIGERIA’S MARITIME DOMAIN FOR NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT and the guest speaker was Vice Admiral U.O JIBRIL Chief of Naval Staff, Nigeria Navy. The lecture took place on 6th, Nov; 2014 at the large lecture theatre of the social sciences which house close to hundred people including the naval entourage, prison officers etc. It was indeed a great programme as the speaker gave facts and figures and some challenges they faced as naval officers.
