UI HOSTS BILATERAL GAME COMPETITION

The annual bilateral games started on the 10th June, 2015, and ended on 12th June, 2015. It is an annual competition between the University of Ibadan, Ibadan and the University of Ghana, Legon. The host for the competition is usually interchanged between the two Universities. The University of Ibadan hosted this year’s annual bilateral games. The competition usually consists of swimming, track and field and a debate. The first event was the swimming competition, which held on the 10^th of June, and the University of Ibadan won most the laurels in that competition. The second event which took place on the same the day was the track event and the students of Ghana won most of the competitions in the event. The debate took place the next day and the Uites showed their argumentative abilities and won the debate. The competition ended with an excursion to the prestigious Olumo rock in Abeokuta on 12 June 2015.
